There’s a photo online of the New York Skyline: New York plunges into darkness. And a report of ‘at least 7 storm related deaths.’
‘More than 50 million people across 12 states are potentially in the firing line of former hurricane Sandy, which was downgraded just before making landfall. Large parts of lower Manhattan are under water, with widespread power cuts and electrical fires. There are reports of at least 7 storm-related deaths.’
It’s just too awful for words. I’m blogging and visiting and posting my fellow bloggers and I’ve finally raised my head above my own little corner of the world to find that 50 million frightened people have more important things on their minds. I wish them all well and pray for their safety.
