A Writer From Melbourne
2. There was a writer from Melbourne called Mary
She wrote lots of words; some were scary
Mary thought she was with it, but no one would visit
So she chucked her work in the closet

    • You might have noticed that I couldn’t keep it up. I’m just not up to the poetry challenge. Also, those who were taking the challenge on seriously had to change the style of poem for each day. Still, I must admit that for somebody who doesn’t much care for poetry, I went further than I ever thought I would. Thanks, though, for the kind words. πŸ™‚

  1. Dearest Mary,

I am so tragically behind with reading blogs, that I am simply going to start and follow you on your poetry journey.

I give you an A+ on this first one. It made me laugh out loud!

    Love,
    Maddie

    • Dear Maddie, thanks for the kind comment. I’m not into poetry of any kind, am bad at it and am running out of steam. But if you’re planning to follow me, then my dear girl, I’m going to have to live up to your expectations. I’m behind and will have to catch up now. Oh, dear. πŸ™‚
