My cousin’s recipe. She’s a good cook. I thought I would publish something easy after the previous post (of course I haven’t tried it out yet and I’ve not added photos or biographical blurb). If anyone makes it, please let me know how it went and if you liked it.
Slice 5 green apples thinly and arrange on a pre oiled pie dish then sprinkle some cinnamon
Beat 2 eggs in mixer
Add 3/4 cup white sugar and
1 cup self raising flour; 1 small container of sour cream
1/2 cup oil (I would be inclined to add that last and at a slow trickle while mixing)
Mix together
Pour mixture over apples
Arrange pecan nuts
Mix a little brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the top.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 mins
When brown take out and pour or brush a little maple syrup over top. (I think that last will make it too sweet, but it’s an option).
Looks super easy and delicious. I’d be inclined to skip the maple syrup, too. Thanks for sharing!
Let me know how it went, if you get around to making it.I’m thinking of sharing a recipe between posts.
Good idea. I like when you post recipes. I have a folder where I copy/paste recipes I want to try one day.
